I'm back!!! It has been a crazy time since my last post, and I have pretty much been without internet for the whole time. I have occasionally been able to get on here and there but it has been hard feeling somewhat disconnected from the world. I am going to try and give you a little update on everything we've done, so hopefully I don't put you to sleep but this is what we've been up to.
ICE STORM
A major ice storm hit the New England area and a state of emergency was declared for New Hampshire. Luckily Clay had decided to crank the heat in our hotel room during the night in case we lost power we could stay warm a little longer. We did lose power but we were definitely better off than most. The storm hit on a Thursday night and we were planning on moving into the condo on Friday and then flying out Saturday morning for Christmas. We had our work cut our for us but we were able to get everything moved out of the hotel and drove to Boston a night early to stay in a warm hotel. We were blessed to already have tickets and a place to stay since many people were out of power for over a week.
CRUISE
Next we went on an awesome cruise with my whole family. It was such a blast! We went to Jamaica, Cayman Islands and Cozumel. We shopped in Jamaica, and went scuba diving in the Cayman Islands and Cozumel. I was a little nervous to dive in the ocean but I really enjoyed it. Was it a little freaky at times..... absolutely, but it was also beautiful and a wonderful experience to see things people will never see in their lifetime. I know I can't remember everything I saw but I did see many colorful fish, two nurse sharks, 3 turtles, 1 eel, 1 barracuda, 3 lobsters, and 1 eagle ray. We got an underwater dvd of two of our dives and I can't wait to see everything again. We enjoyed great food, good laughs and great weather. Carson even surprised Clay and I with an escape in the early morning hours from our cabin. We woke up to his empty bed and began to panic. Without telling the whole story, he was wandering around the kitchen one floor up and was found by a worker. Of course he was fine and didn't have a problem giving himself a private tour. We barricaded the door with luggage from then on. It was an unforgettable trip.
Then back home for a week of Christmas with Mom and Dad Sanders. We just spent time with my crazy fun family which can be intimidating if you're not accustomed to it, but we love each other and we have a great time just being together.

WASHINGTON D.C.
Our family flew home on the Sunday before New Years and we decided since Clay only had to work Monday and Tuesday that we would drive to Washington D.C. to visit my brother and sister-in-law Lindsay. We spent Monday trying to unpack everything we had just thrown into the condo during the ice storm, and then spent Tuesday packing and left right after Clay got off work and made the 8 hour drive. We had so much fun and were able to do so much. We visited the mall and saw the beautiful memorials, U.S. History Smithsonian, Natural History Smithsonian, and Air and Space Museum. My favorite was seeing the memorials. We spent New Years Eve with Cam and Linds and played Wii. I also got some good recipes to try which were delicious. Thanks Cam and Linds it was so fun.
(Pictures coming soon)CONDO LIFE
Then we finally came home and have been home for about 2 weeks. We just got everything into place this past weekend. I like the condo and we are starting to get into our family routine. We have had a snow storm every weekend since we've been home and have had plenty of snow. It is very peaceful to watch the snow slowly fall down on the evergreens and sip some warm cider or cocoa. We're not tired of the cold weather yet, and we are definitely experiencing new things. The boys are getting so big, Carson got his first big boy haircut at the barbers and Connor took his first step a couple of days ago.

We miss everyone in Texas but are also enjoying this opportunity. We hope your holidays were filled with happiness and love and that your new year is filled with new and exciting adventure.

Looks like you guys have been having tons of fun! And we are glad you are enjoying the snow! :)
Wow that is a lot of snow! How fun though. I wish there was more snow here so I could go sledding :) The boys looks so cute! I love the picture of Carson getting his hair cut. Priceless. Love you Tab hope you are doing well. I need to get some recipes from you.
Wow, what a crazy scary adventure! Good to know you guys are still alive and well, and that you thawed out nicely with a cruise! Lincoln escapes all the time, too. It's so beyond frustrating!
I love all the new pictures. I can't believe how much Connor has changed. He looks so different. And he took his first step, wow. Well, we're glad you guys are happy and enjoying your time there. Can't wait til you are back in TX.

Heres an idea for the cold weather. If you have a big tub maybe in the master, have a beach party lay the towels out have a picnic let the boys go swimming and have some fun with the shaving cream. shaving cream in the shower, in the tub, on a table. They can draw pictures, letters whatever. It also leaves a nice polish on the furniture. Love ya
