A Blog Facelift
I needed a fresh look. I was never in love with the green and brown flower print. This new look represents the freezing cold weather of New England. It's better than I thought it would be but I also dream everyday of laying(or is it lying) in my backyard in Texas and soaking up the sunshine while the boys play in a little pool. I stop myself at that point because it only is depressing to keep daydreaming about warm weather. It's sure hard to keep two active boys inside all day, but so far we have done some fun activities like fingerpainting, cookie decorating, puzzles, coloring books, throwing around balls, reading books from the library, cooking, and playdough. Really though, I posted a little while ago for ideas and I only had one person give me some great ideas, I know there are more of you with great ideas. Please send them my way. Until then hope your days are warmer than mine.

I know what you mean about the cold it is depressing :( By the way your blog is way cute!
whew! If it were only easier to change my own style to fit my current location and weather conditions. Here it is one day hot, one day cold. Drives me crazy. As for ideas for what to do with them--you could try kiddie yoga. That is kind of fun but lasts all of 15 minutes. You could get one of those inflatable bouncy houses and set it up in your living room and let them go crazy. Build a fort. String froot loop necklaces. Take out all of daddy's shoelaces and have them relace them. Do some sort of service project--write letters to missionaries, make valentines for a nursing home. Find a big box and turn it into a. . .whatever. Once when we were stuck inside i bought a little swimming pool and filled it with rice for the kids to play in. Little scoops, trucks cups, funnels. Good way to have a little food storage on hand too. ") Best of luck to you. Give Conner a big bite on the toe for me!
