One Month in a Hotel

I thought that six months would go by so slow and it would seem like we had been gone for so long, but we are already one month down. This month was filled with some site seeing but mostly hanging around the hotel trying to figure out our living situation. We will be moving into a condo on Friday and of course Saturday we fly to Houston. One month in a hotel has its ups and downs. The ups: all out breakfast served daily, dinner four nights a week, house keeping every day and a workout room and pool just down the elevator. The Downs: no room to let the boys play, no oven, no room for our stuff, and no room for the boys to play (did I say that already). I can't wait to let the boys run all over the condo and have a yard to play in. The hotel hasn't been that awful especially with all the perks it included and we also have become quite close to the staff. The boys have won the hearts of all the ladies, especially the morning cook who often gets him his cereal and sneaks us specially cookies to eat later during the day. Here are an assortment of pictures taken this past month.

Oh my, I don't know how you do it! I would be going SO stir crazy if I were stuck in a hotel for a month! I could do it with just Bryan and myself, but with two ACTIVE little boys? Wow, you are so awesome.

Hey Girl! So you're heading to Houston on Saturday, is that for the cruise? The boys already look so different, especially Connor, look at him sitting up like a big boy. I bet he's really crawling now. Well, talk to me later!!

Oh Tabatha -- I miss you!!! If possible, please come to Boerne to see us when in Houston. I'm glad you're finally getting a place, but I could sure use some of the perks of a hotel right now.

I just read about massive power outages in New Hampshire. I know that you should be in Houston now, but did the power affect your being able to move into the condo before you left? All this cold and storms confirm that for me it's a great time to be in Texas!
