Hampshire Pewter Company and Lake Winnipesaukee

Today while Clay was at work, we took a trip up by Lake Winnipesaukee and visited a town called Wolfeboro, NH. In the town there is the Hampshire Pewter Company which practice the centuries-old art of handcasting fine pewter. It is the last in the country. We didn't get to take a tour but we did find an ornament of the Nubble Lighthouse that you can read about below. It was beautiful. We took some side roads to go by the lake and just enjoyed a wonderful cold afternoon. On the way home we stopped at Johnson's Seafood and Steak and Dairy Bar, for of course ice cream. I was surprised when Diane suggested ice cream when it was in the high 30's outside and she is always cold, but hey I am definitely not passing up ice cream. Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream yum yum!
