It was the perfect opportunity for me to get some one on one time with Connor while Clay and Carson were in California. However, I didn't want to be at the house for 5 days by myself, so I packed us up and we headed to Houston to stay with my family. I had so much fun being able to enjoy Connor and also doing some cool stuff with my family. Two highlights of the trip were going to Harwin, and getting scuba certified. Harwin has a bunch of stores with jewelry, bags, sunglasses, shoes, and other accessories. The great thing is that it is all super cheap. I managed to come home with a new church bag, sunglasses, two head bands, a braclet, necklace and earring set, and another set of earrings. Just so you know what I mean by cheap, everything except the necklace-earring set and bag were $3 a piece. So if you are looking for some fun accesories but don't want to spend a fortune hit Harwin the next time you're in H-town!! I'll share more about my scuba diving experiences when I get some pics.
