We've been quite busy these past couple of weeks, but have been having a lot of fun. Memorial Day Weekend my parents and sister Tanya came out for a couple of days. We went to the Natural Bridge Caverns and to Canyon Lake. We loved having something fun to do, and a reason to lay off the house projects we'd been working on.
Originally we were going to meet them to go to Comal River and do some tubing and play in the water, but it was packed and very hot, so we changed plans and headed to Natural Bridge Caverns. We had a good time seeing the cave formations from stalagmites to stalagtites and all sorts of other formations I can't spell. They said the tour we were going on was family friendly but I thought they could have given us a little more warning about the VERY steep path and wet floors (just a warning to anyone considering the discovery tour). We made it out alive though with both Carson and Connor and enjoyed being out of the hot sun. Here are some pics of our exploration!
The next day we went to Canyon Lake to Comal Park. It was perfect weather and we had so much fun swimming in the Lake (not to mention it is only $1 per person over the age of 12, talk about a great family spot). It wasn't crowded and Carson spent hours playing on the shore. Thanks Fam for a fun weeked!

Ya'll are too cute! Looks like a good time. We'll have to go and check out the caves- super cool! I adore your hat- where did you get it? I found a big, fun, floppy hat the other day- and was very sad to find, after swimming with it on one day, that it's made of 100% paper! What in the world?! Now it's VERY floppy- not in a cute or good way. Bummer. :(

LOL! Carsen is totally FREEEEE! That's how my nephew gets, too; he loves being naked!
It really looks like you guys are having fun. I do envy how you got to put some roots done. I wish that was us. Not for another few years though. Your kids are adorable, congrats on the beautiful family.
