Clay and I had our first Roller Derby experience last weekend. My sister and some of her friends were going to the Houston Roller Derby Championships and she asked if Clay and I wanted to come along. Nonnie and Poppie watched the boys and Clay and I geared up for a night out. We stuck out amongst the attending crowd, but we had fun. Our favorite player was Death By Chocolate and she was by far the best. I learned a few rules of the game, saw a few good collisions and came to the conclusion that I wasn't going to join a roller derby team anytime soon or in my lifetime!!! I love seeing or doing new things like this, so pass along any fun things you've done around San Antonio or Houston or wherever, who knows where we'll pass through!

Now when you see that new Roller Derby movie that is coming out, you'll know all the rules and jargon! ;-)
