Bar Harbor, Maine

So I am playing catch up with my journal of our last little bit in New England. When Clay's parents were visiting we drove 5 hours North to the coast of Maine and stayed in Bar Harbor. We visited Acadia National Park and had a blast taking in all the beauty of nature. There were so many lakes and fun little places to drive through. We stayed the week before peak season began and so it was still a little chilly out, but we didn't let that stop us!

One of my most favorite pictures of Acadia.

Carson enjoying the beach a little with Daddy. Wow, he really needed a haircut!!

I love this picture of my boys. This was the shore just feet away from the hotel breakfast room. The boys in their pjs and so excited to be there.

Clay and his parents got up early and drove to the top of Cadillac Mountain to see the first place in the United States where you see the sun rise. I stayed with the boys, which was probably good since it started to drizzle a little while they were out.Outside our room on the balcony. Such a beautiful place, we are so glad we were able to visit.
