SUCCESS
We started some serious potty training on Tuesday this past week, and we started off with a bang, twice a day for three days. It was great. Then Carson decided that he no longer wanted to sit on the potty and sing songs and point out mommy's facial features anymore. We had two days of no success and one wet spot in our closet. I was starting to get discouraged and thinking maybe he just wasn't ready, that is until a couple of hours ago right before bed he stood infront of me holding his diaper, I asked if he needed to go pee pee and he ran for the bathroom, we had SUCCESS!! Now, I am not crossing my fingers that this will stick, but at least I know he understands what we're trying to achieve. Sometimes the smallest things like a little tinkle in the toilet just make your day!

we're all about the bribes too! claire gets a jellybean or m&m when she does poopoo on the potty. we'll read a book to her while she sits and that helps her stay on the seat longer sometimes. good luck!
LOL, we are SO where you are right now! Lincoln is just so stinkin' smart and can be really conniving (plus thetantrums are in full force right now), so it's scary in a way but he uses the potty against US! I have 9 books on potty training that I checked out from the library, and Bryan just laughs at me!
